RbA Origins

RbA was created in 2006 when Roger Webb was forced by his employers to go part time

RbA Finances

RbA keeps cost down to maintain its independence
RbA and its sister sites exercise strict financial disciplines having no permanent offices, no paid staff and using 'Open Source' software wherever possible.
Spending in the coming year
RbA plans to fund a number of competitions for new interest areas and for articles, pictures and other material in existing sections
It will also be funding an SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) programme on both a funded and volunteer basis.

Financing RbA

To date, what limited expenses there have been have been borne by the founder, but now there is a need to encourage members to contribute written material and images and to launch a professional SEO programme to boost visitor figure beyond the 1,000 per day barrier.

Contribute £5.00 to RbA and only £1 of that will be used to defray current expenses












20% of all RbA revenues go to Charity

Contribute £25 and and £5.00 of that will go to a charity supporting the aged












The remaining 60% is used to fund new material for the site.
