We're just getting going, looking for members and planning for the future, but of course we do have some ideas of where the group might go.

Our main mission is to link together all the creative writers, working in the english language, world-wide. For the moment we include poets, novelists, journalists, the lot, though we would forsee having sub-groups for them all once there are enough of us.

Initial plans are for

• A 'critiques corner' where we can help each other by reading our works and commenting on style, characterisation, point of view etc
• One or more 'team novels' where we have a little competition between members to write the next chapter of an on-going novel
• A book review sections commenting on the many 'how to make a fortune as an author' books on the market.

Of course, even though I declared my genius to the US customs, I don'y have a monopoly on good ideas. Indeed some of my good ideas turned out to be very bad.

So, we're looking to you to take part and add your quota to the content and shape of RbA and specifically the Creative Writing Interest Group
