The Flat Earth Society is alive and well

It seems you can't be on the ticket in the US unless you believe, against all the evidence, that the world was created in six days six thousand years ago.

Though the evidence builds, via geology, cosmology and DNA studies that man and all the life we see around us did 'evolve' over millions of years essentially as Darwin suggested you need a real creationist on board to win.

DNA, in particular, seems to be valid science when it comes to condemning a man to death, when it points to gradual evolution it suddenly runs into the sand.

And all those fossils - created to mislead us?

The fact that the evolution myth is just that - a myth - doesn't make the bible less holy. It is a book giving moral pointers through a mixture of myth and history. After all if it is the literal truth then the God of the old testament is capricious and often downright evil. Who in his mind would kill the innocent first born of an innocent population and leave the sinner - Pharoah - alive and well?
