- Retired but Active Chat Rooms are for members only, and we don't have teenage members.

We do like to complain
...and moans and groans is our place to do so!
Moans and groans is a place for us to complain: complain, that is, before we get active in the interest groups to do something about the state of our world.
But moaning and groaning is a waste of life, so get them all out then let's do something more productive.

We need to be able to use the internet without a constant worry about who is spamming us, who is trying to steal our identity, who is trying to rob our bank.
Creative Writing

...locked away in a room with only the radio and a cat for company.
Even when the work is finished, we struggle to get it reviewed properly, and criticism from our nearest and dearest can be hurtful if probably well meant.
Retired but Active

it could just as easily be a woman.
...that's what we're about; being active in our retirement, taking life by the throat and shaking every last pleasure out of it.
We're a varied lot: some of us have our health and mobility - can ride a bike - others not; some of us are affluent - others penniless. Retired but Active is for us all, the powerful, the victims and everything in between.
Software 'for free'
Submitted by rogerwebb on Fri, 02/05/2008 - 14:00.I use the expression 'for free' deliberately as it's one of my pet hates and like a man with toothache I can't resist giving the offending clause a tweak every now and then.
The real expression for software like drupal is 'opensource' either as one word or two. It is living proof of the generosity and weaknesses of much of mankind: a sort of active anti-globalisation that prevents the big software houses from running off with even more of our hard-earned.

Our 3 sites work just like Wikipedea
The site provides the structures and some basic material
..and the members provide the content.
But we do need to take precautions
So we have to make it a rule that you have to be a member before you can post a page.
