Some of us don't give personal details on the internet!
So don't...- You're right to be wary about giving out personal details to perfect strangers. So:
- Use a suitable nick-name or nom-de plume for your dealings on the site
- Set up, or use an existing temporary e-mail address to keep your personal address clear of unwanted material.
You can set up a free e-mail address through hotmail or yahoo by clicking on the names.
So why does RaA want me to join if they don't have my real name or address?- Because we get spammed and need to be able to eject the spammers by cancelling their membership.
- By doing this we protect the site - and you - from unwanted and perhaps offensive material
- And what does it cost to join?
- Nothing now, nothing ever. RaA and RbA is staffed by volunteers and financed by sponsors.
So what do I get by joining?- RaA and it's sister site RbA are community sites where the bulk of their content comes from members. becoming members allows you to:
- Write to the blogs and the forums
- Post pictures to the galleries
- Use the chat rooms and
- Set up and contribute to Interest groups.
